A case report on drug rash with Eosinophiilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) syndrome

Background: DRESS syndrome is a distinctive, severe, and atypical drug reaction includes rash with eosinophilia organ dysfunction symptoms, as well hematological abnormalities. This disease diagnosed using the Regis CAR (European Registry of Severe Cutaneous Adverse Reaction) scoring system. Case presentation: A 25-year-old lady presented complaints skin lesion over whole body since 3 days along multiple clear fluid filled blisters face chin lesions in oral cavity, ill-defined areas erythema bullae chin. She also had complained about was having cough, breathlessness chest pain. Conclusion: severe hypersensitivity caused by from drug, which this case found to be allopurinol. The treatment for same firstly withdrawal causative corticosteroids,in patient dexamethasone used.
